Google Street View App Reviews

Trying to import your own 360 photos into this app is an exercise in frustration. First, Streetview indicates that you can choose photos from your camera roll... but in reality, it shows you photos from ANY of your albums including PhotoStream (1000 photos). Those photos are represented as tiles, so you cant tell which ones are panoramas and which arent (you cant zoom). And finally, some files just refuse to import -- with no error indicating what may be wrong. I have beautiful panoramas from Microsofts free Image Composition Editor, but cant use them. Also, for wathever reason this Cardboard app seems to be more sensitive to smartphone screen position -- having the thin Apple case on causes double images when in VR mode.

The app is really useful for many situations

The app is good but the only thing that it doesnt let you do is walk around without touching the screen somehow the magnet doesnt work. Please fix it Google.

Im having fun with 360 Camera!

Ive moved more times than I can count without paper and pencil, from California to New York and beyond. It is so much fun looking up houses Ive lived in in the past.

I miss the old Google maps feature where the user could move the little yellow person figure to a location and then see the surrounding area. Why did google maps take that away?!

When I try to make a photoshpere, at some point in the frame I have to point up and catch the sun. When pointing at the sun the entire frame becomes pretty dark and many times overlaps the image under it ruining the photoshpere. The app should adjust camera settings to match the color and exposure of the rest of the sky. Microsoftss photosynth does a much better job of this. Also, why can I not save these to camera roll in a way where I can upload to Facebook as a 360 photo? Facebook recommends this app for 360 photo uploads but I cant seem to get it to work. I think the 360 metadata gets lost when saving to camera roll. Lastly, there is a bug and one of my photospheres under "Ready To Publish" wont upload because it is mistaken for a "Sample Photo Sphere" and I cant select it.

I absolutely love this app and taking 360 pictures with it. However, after the recent update, I can no longer see pictures in cardboard mode. I only get a black screen. I hope this is fixed quickly.

Great app. But pictures we take in 360 are not the best yet. It could be better constructed

Long waited app. Nicely done. Please add support for motrr hardware. This would be a fantastic and awesome team.

Why cant I open the viewed location in google maps or in apple maps in order to navigate there and to have more overview. It would be also possible to add favorites there. One of the most important functions is missing with this!

As long als there is no native IPad-Version, I will not push this App with more Stars!!!! Keep on Google! Using CardBoard with own pics means app crash! Useless
